For you, beer is not just beer, but an incomparable combination of smells, sounds, flavours, visuals and mouthfeel that you like to explore and describe eloquently? Then our scholarship for aspiring young beer writers offers you everything you've been looking for.
The Association for the Promotion of International Students in Weihenstephan and the Club Ausländischer Weihenstephaner maintain contacts with members in over 80 countries around the world. The CAW's beer fridge is filled with unusual, exotic, novel and adventurous beer creations from all over the world that are just waiting to be tasted.
Once a week, we present one of them to you as part of the CAW Beer of the Week. But the reports have to be written first. This is where you come in: as a scholarship holder, you will receive heavily discounted and preferential access to the CAW's regular beer tastings. At the end of the summer semester, you will also have the opportunity to order a very special beer worth up to € 25, which will be tasted together with the other scholarship holders.
